Just arrived!

A stunning pair of polished industrial pendant lamps. Complete with all the original fittings and thick holophane style glass lenses. These lamps have been stripped down and re-fitted with standard bayonet bulbholders. They are supplied with 1m of black flex and polished steel chain.

An unusually small and compact haberdashery cabinet with dovetailed oak drawers. It would be ideal for a compact collection of shoes....

We have just salvaged a good run of these antique mill bins from a factory in the north of England. More commonly found on the continent it's nice to have a run of these from closer to home. They are a great size and colour with lots of wear and character but still strong with their riveted construction.

CREA Traveller Summer

We have just been featured in the Japanese magazine CREA Traveller. Thanks to the team at the magazine for their favourable write-up. They love vintage English and European design and upcycled and re-imagined pieces. And as they note we do ship to Japan (....and anywhere else in the world).

Tan Sad Factory Chairs

This poster was produced for the 1947 British Industries Fair at London Olympia.

"Manufacturers of 'Tan-Sad' True Posture Seating. Specifically designed Chairs for the use of Typists, Machine Operators, General Office and Executives, and for all Industrial purposes where operatives sit at their work."

We love the graphic of the hand holding the spine.

We still have some remaining chairs from our recent run of original Tan-Sad factory chairs. It is increasingly rare to find good runs of these chairs which were a firm favourite to keep the workers comfortable at their machines and desks.
