Vintage and antique pieces

We search for vintage and antique pieces. We sympathetically restore them, or sometimes reinterpret them. We recycle, upcycle, reuse and reconstruct. We collaborate with other craftspeople and designers who share our approach. We showcase and sell the work of other designers and artists in our East London showroom.

New Arrivals

We have lots of great new pieces that have just come into stock and have been updated onto our website. There are lots of pictures to look at as well as a condition report for each piece.

Two of our favourite new finds are these haberdashery cabinets that were removed some years ago from a gentleman's outfitters in Covent Garden in London. They are very nice quality with mahogony fronts, period nickel plated brass fittings, oak drawers dove-tailed front and back that slide out from behind up and over glass doors. Increasingly difficult to find the cabinets are available to purchase individually.

We have also taken delivery recently of a huge haul of salvaged industrial mine lamps. There are several different styles in various sizes and materials. They will be updated online with the quantities available of each model as we go through them. The different materials will provide opportunities for different finishes. Below are some examples from a run very practically sized caged pendant lamps that are aluminium and have been mirror polished to create stunning lamps either individually or in clusters or groups.

Adding to our collection of reclaimed lab stools we have unearthed another interesting variation. These are neat, tidy and authentic with their worn grey powder coated steel tube frames and ply-wood seats not to mention solid with their triangulated frame. We have about 40 or so currently available.
