Just arrived!

Rare Antique Medical Cabinet by Emesay - the Medical Supply Association Ltd - formerly of Grays Inn Road London WC1X.  A very good size and proportions with an incredible build quality to the case. The lock still has the original key and the 4 original castors have been stripped down and oiled and now run as smoothly as they did 100 years ago! We have given the cabin et a makeover and contemporary touch with a stunning mirror polished finish

Another very well proportioned piece of furniture this Mid-century Index-card Cabinet has been mounted on a metal base. The top is a single piece of wood and has lots of wear and character. Pictured below with one of our low voltage refitted Factory Floorlamps by furniture designer Mark Beverton.

Large and dramatic Pair of Factory Wall Lamps. They have been refitted for domestic use. They have mirror polished galleries and wall mounting brackets and the shades are enamelled in a very mellow powder blue.

We like the look of this Set of 4 Mid-century Factory Chairs. They have splayed wooden legs that sit nicely with the bent ply seats and backs.

This Primitive Bench has a top that has been hewn from a single slab of wood. To the underside the hatchet marks are still visible where it was trimmed and thinned down to size. Very robust and heavy with mortise and tenon joints throughout.

Cambridge. An Art Deco style metal sign with a great scale. What is left of the faded red paintwork has been stabilised and preserved. The letters all have enty and exit holes drilled into them where once-upon-a-time neon tubes would have been fitted. It is shown in the photograph below with a selection of some of our current stock of steel-tube ski-leg style chairs

For those of you who are familiar with the environs and street life of Shoreditch in East London the sign below will need no further explanation. Browns. Good sized series of metal letters with worn and faded grey/black paint that we would ideally like to keep together and sell as a set.
